Why Choose Anti-Flaking?

Two-component technology for comprehensive crack protection and waterproofing.

Dual-Action Protection

Acts simultaneously as a lamination coat and a base coat — eliminating the need for separate protective layers.

Waterproof Barrier

Cured coating forms an effective water-resistant barrier, protecting masonry from moisture ingress and staining.

Crack Prevention

Reinforcing properties bridge existing hairline cracks and provide elasticity to prevent new cracks from forming.

Stops Paint Flaking

Securely bonds paint to the substrate — prevents the dreaded peeling and flaking paint cycle on problem surfaces.

Interior & Exterior

Effective on both interior walls and exterior facades — one system for comprehensive whole-building protection.

Long-Lasting

Durable two-component chemistry ensures the coating retains its protective properties over an extended period.

Application Areas

Exterior Walls

Buildings with recurring exterior flaking, efflorescence, or paint failure benefit most from Anti-Flaking treatment.

Water-Exposed Surfaces

Parapets, podiums, water tanks, and below-ground areas prone to moisture seepage or direct water contact.

Old Buildings

Aged masonry and concrete that shows surface deterioration, loose paint, or hairline crack networks.

Damp Basements

Below-grade walls and floors that see intermittent moisture or seasonal dampness from ground-level water.

Concrete Structures

Bridges, columns, slabs, and retaining walls where waterproof surface protection is critical.

Bathrooms & Wet Areas

Interior wet areas where persistent moisture causes recurring flaking and surface damage to paint.

How to Apply Anti-Flaking

Two-component system — proper mixing is critical to performance.

01

Surface Preparation

Remove all loose paint, flaking material, dust, grease, and efflorescence. Surface should be structurally sound and free of active water leakage before application.

02

Mix Part A + Part B

Mix Part A and Part B in a 2:1 ratio by volume. Stir thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. Use only as much mixed product as can be applied within the pot life.

03

Apply First Coat

Apply the mixed Anti-Flaking coating evenly to the prepared surface using a brush, roller, or spray. Ensure complete coverage including cracks and corners. Allow to dry.

04

Apply Second Coat & Finish

Once the first coat is dry, apply a second coat for enhanced protection. Allow full curing before applying topcoat paint or further finishing.

Critical: Always mix Part A and Part B at exactly 2:1 (Part A : Part B) by volume. Incorrect ratios will compromise waterproofing and structural performance. Do not use either component alone — the two-part system must be mixed for the product to work.

Anti-Flaking FAQ

What is the correct mixing ratio for Anti-Flaking?
The correct ratio is 2 parts Part A to 1 part Part B by volume. This 2:1 ratio is critical — deviating from it will compromise the waterproofing and crack-resistance performance. Mix only the quantity that can be applied within the product's pot life.
Can Anti-Flaking be used on actively leaking walls?
No. Active water leakage must be stopped at its source before applying Anti-Flaking. The product provides a protective water-resistant coating but is not a remediation solution for water under hydrostatic pressure. Treat the root cause first, then apply Anti-Flaking as a protective system.
Do I need a separate primer before Anti-Flaking?
Anti-Flaking functions as both a lamination coat and a base coat — making a separate primer unnecessary on most masonry surfaces. For specific substrates or heavily contaminated surfaces, contact our technical team for guidance.
